SJCOPS is located at the riverbanks of Chalakudy River. The college has all the facilities as per the guidelines of statutory bodies. The infrastructure includes 24 well equipped laboratories, LCD mounted classrooms , air-conditioned central instrumentation room with analytical instruments &multimedia room, auditorium.

LIBRARY
Library is a gateway to the world of information. College library consists of wide reading area and computers with internet connections. The library has more than 7780 collections of books covering all disciplines including reference books. The library currently subscribes journals which includes both national(25) and international(5), e-journals and follows digital library system. The library hall can accommodate 100 students at a time and it has separate area for students and faculty.
Library Rules
- Both staff and students are eligible to get library cards. He/She will be responsible for all books borrowed on that card.
- The students can take 3 books at a time for 7 days.
- Books can be re-issued to the same person if there is no reservation for it and not more than two consecutive renewals.
- Damage or loss of books on loan shall be reported to the librarian immediately. Borrowers are responsible for any damage or loss of books occurring during loan period.
- Reference books, Magazines, Journals, bound volumes and theses will not be issued on loan.
- The borrowers are advised to return the documents while proceeding on long leave.
- All library dues should be cleared and no-due certificate should be obtained before leaving the college.
HOSTEL FACILITY
The academy has excellent hostel facilities and infrastructure within the campus that make students feel comfortable and at home. SJCOPS provides hostel facilities for girls. The hostel is constructed with two primary objectives of safety and comfort. It has round-the-clock security, with stringent security procedures and comfortable rooms that our students enjoy living in. The hostel has toilet and bathing cells. Cleanliness is well maintained by the staff on duty. Every hostel room provides a friendly atmosphere and no polluted environment, which helps the mental, physical and spiritual development of the students The hostels have their own mess hall with sufficient seating. Some of the other facilities available are Telephone facility, uninterrupted reading room for students after college hours, medical facility,Prayer Hall, laundry area.
CHAPEL
The college provides peaceful and relaxed atmosphere for those wish to be in silence and prayerful environment.
PARKING AREA
An adequate parking facility is provided for students and staffs separately.
SPORTS FACILITY
Indoors and out door area are provided for various sports activities.
COLLEGE CANTEEN
The canteen functioning inside the campus which offers food items at affordable rate to students, staffs and visitors.
COLLEGE BUS
Transportation provided to girl students to and fro Chalakudy on payment mode.
REPROGRAPHIC CENTRE
A reprographic centre attached to the office functioning in the college. Students and staff can take photocopies of study materials and articles on charge basis.
MULTIMEDIA ROOM AND AUDITORIUM
The college has a fully furnished multimedia room having the seating capacity of 75 with the necessary electronic equipments and has a spacious and well ventilated auditorium with 400 seating capacity.
EXAMINATION HALL
A spacious examination hall with examination cell (to facilitate the examination procedures) is available as per KUHS examination norms.
MACHINE ROOM
Machine room with adequate equipments as per PCI norms has been provided.
COMMON ROOMS
Separate common rooms for girls and boys are available.
