Placement cell coordinates the placement activity in the campus for graduate and post graduate pharmacy students. It has an excellent record of placements throughout these years. It provides a golden opportunity for placing our alumni members in various reputed institutions, industries, hospitals and so on.

The alumni association has an active placement cell in the college campus. It organises campus selection for its members. Senior alumni members have been helping for the placements abroad.

Oushadha Udyoga Mela – Job Fair programme has been organized in this campus in collaboration with Drug Control Department, IPA and KPGA .In association with KPGA we have conducted job fairs in the years 2011, 2015, 2016 & 2019. The first Oushadha Udyoga Mela -2011 was conducted at SJCOPS for pharmacy graduates on 1st & 2nd December 2011. 15 reputed Pharmaceutical companies and hospitals from all over India participated to recruit 178 candidates.

The second Oushadha Udyoga Mela 2015 & 2016 was conducted at the same venue on 27th and 28th Nov 2015. Almost 15 reputed Pharmaceutical companies and hospitals from all over India participated to recruit candidates. The association had organized a career guidance seminar on Global opportunities for the students on 28th June 2018.

Oushadha Udyoga Mela-2019 was held on Thursday 13th June 2019 at St.James College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chalakudy. It was organised as a recruitment drive with Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. for the post of Hospital/Clinical Pharmacists in the newly launching Apollo Hospital, Angamaly.
